About Us

How Foul Hookers Was Born

Hey there! I’m Kate — founder of Foul Hookers, lover of all things outdoors, and proud female fisho. My husband and I own ‘Just Doon It Fishing Charters’ in the Northern Territory. Foul Hookers is the female offshoot that that business - but it’s all about ‘fashun’.

This all started out pretty simple. I was out fishing one day, caught a good yella, got a photo snapped, looked back at it and thought ‘I look like absolute shit’ in a fishing shirt two sizes too big, thinking why the bloody hell is it so hard to find decent fishing gear for women? I wanna wear not just something that fits, but something that actually looks good too and something that says, yep, I’m a chick who loves to fish, but I wanna look damn good doing it.

And that was the lightbulb moment. A bit of a laugh turned into an idea… which turned into Foul Hookers.

Made for Female Fishos, by Female Fishos

We’re not just a brand, We’re a bunch of women who love the outdoors, but still want to feel confident, comfy, and like ourselves out on the water.

Every piece we design is made with real women in mind. Women who throw a cast at sunrise, crack open a bevvy after a long day on the boat, and still wanna rock a bit of style while they’re at it. We’re all about making gear that can withstand harsh fishing conditions and looks bloody great at the same time.

What We’re All About

Foul Hookers is about community. It’s about celebrating female fishos from all walks of life. And at all levels of fishing experience. By no means am I a pro - I still need a tutorial on an FG knot every time I snap my line. We’re cheeky, we’re bold. We’re here to hook fish, turn heads, and support each other while we’re at it.

So whether you’re a pro on the barra or love slaying a Murray cod, or just chuckin’ a line in with the kids on the weekend — we’ve got your back. This gear is built tough, just like you, but it’s got flair too (because who says you can’t have both?).

Come Along for the Ride!

Foul Hookers is more than just a brand, it’s a vibe. It’s a crew. And we’d bloody love for you to join us to feel fly, get ‘foul’ and have a cracking time on the water.

Welcome to the crew.
